my process..of the day. didnt do much :/
All of this started with the Greeks. These ancient teachings are the foundation for many modern societies and form the core of studies in communications, linguistics, archeology, religion, philosophy, art history, fine arts, sociology, ancient history, and law.
The reason of why I chose to be a communications major is because what I want to do is work in the media industry and this would help. Not only will I be able to study media, but also the art of persuasion. I really enjoy working with cameras and I would say I’m very social and like dealing with people.
To become a communication major, I must take the typical core classes no questions asked. The first year I must take Media Literacy Skills, which will give me a total of (4) credits, Media & Cultural Industries which will also give me (4) credits. To conclude the first year I must take Marketing Communications that will give me only (2) credits. For the second year I have to take Psychology & Human Relations, Creative Media & Social Change and lastly Audience Research. For my third and last year I am required to take Mass Persuasion, Creative Project Design & Management and finally Professional Development. After im done taking 3 years of my major courses I will have a total of 30 credits and be able to graduate.!
The only requirement is to be able to speak publicly. It would be hard and kind of weird to be a “communications” major without being able to speak in public.
The Major
The major in Communication Studies leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree. It provides students with a knowledge of the nature of human communication, the systems by which it functions, the environments in which it occurs and its media. It also has critical and empirical approaches; the major draws its resources from the social sciences, humanities, and fine arts.
MASS MEDIA CAREERS:
Advertising and Marketing
Film (documentary & feature length): Development, Distribution, Production, and Promotion
Music Industry
Public Relations
Talent Agency
Technology and its development
Television: Development, Production, Programming, and Promotion

my progress.
A college degree in the arts of communications is based on the Greek and Latin studies of language and rhetoric, and how they could be used as tools to benefit the society.
